Sachin Tendulkar and A R Rahman come together for Sachin: A Billion Dreams Movie Song Launch

Sachin Tendulkar and A R Rahman launched the song of Sachin: A Billion Dreams in Mumbai. Sachin: A Billion Dreams is all set to hit the theatres on May 26.

Talking about his biopic documentary, the Master blaster said, “Sachin: A Billion Dreams helped me revisit the key moments of his life and share them with his fans, who have been an important part of his journey. The movie chronicles the 44-year-old cricket icon's journey from a young boy to one of the most celebrated sportsmen of all time.”

He further said, “This film has helped me relive the important moments of my life through its making. I remain a private person but realised that there is much I have not revealed or spoken about to those who have been instrumental to my life and career, especially the fans.”

Sachin: A Billion Dreams will focus on the journey of the legendary cricketer that he undertook for over 24 years.

The film is directed by James Erskine and apart from the insights from Sachin Tendulkar it will also feature fellow team members such as M S Dhoni and Virender Sehwag offering their insights into Tendulkar's life and legacy.

Talking about his music, A R Rahman said whether a project comes from Bollywood, Hollywood or from any part of the world, it catches his interest as long as passionate people are involved in it and it leaves him sleepless about giving it his best shot.
