Tamil Film Producers Council Press Meet - Vishal Called Off Strike

Tamil Film Producers Council Press Meet was held on 21nd Jan 2017 at Tamil Film Producers Council 606 Anna Salai, Chennai. 

President of Tamil Film Producers Council and actor Vishal has announced that the association have called off strike call given by them for 30 May demanding action from State and Central governments seeking action against piracy and few other demands.

An emergency meeting of Producers Council was held in Chennai in which various issues were discussed by the association led by Vishal. The Qube problem, piracy issue and cable TV rights for newly released films were discussed at the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Vishal, said,'A 20-member team will be formed to check piracy. Also efforts would be taken to ensure small producers benefit from my measures'.

Vishal added, 'After GST implementation, there would be transparency in the industry.Daily collection would be made known and theatre ticket sales would be known clearly'.
