Sivakarthikeyan New Movie Launch Ceremony was held on 16th June 2017 Chennai yesterday.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan is teaming with director Ponram for the third time for an upcoming yet-untitled film, which will have actor Samantha as his love interest.

24 AM Studios Production Number 04 is bankrolling the project. The makers of the film have confirmed the news on Twitter on Samantha Prabhu as Heroine in this film.

This project marks Siva's third association with director Ponram after their Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan.

Slated to go on the floors next year around the Sankranti festival, the film will hit the screens on Diwali this year.

Also, Sivakarthikeyan is collaborating with director Mohan Raja for an Velaikkaran Tamil film after which Siva's project with Ponram is likely to go on floors.

Sivakarthikeyan also released of Tamil romantic-comedy Remo, which is touted to be a romantic comedy, is directed by debutant Bakkiyaraj Kannan. The film saw Sivakarthikeyan collaborating with Keerthy Suresh for the second time after the duo's successful outing in Rajini Murugan.

The muhurtham of Sivakrthikeyan's next movie to be directed by Ponram began in Chennai yesterday (June 16th).

Soori, Sivakarthikeyan and Ponram were present a special pooja to kick start the movie. Produced by 24 AM Studios, the movie stars Samantha as heroine. Music is by D Imman .

Sivakarthikeyan, Soori, Ponram and D Imman come together after hits in Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan.

The film has Sivakarthikeyan and Samantha as the lead pair for the first time. The film also stars Soori as the lead comedian. Apart from Soori, the film has Yogi Babu, Manobala, Lal and 'Motta' Rajendran. The yet to be titled film is expected to be a Comedy film and is being produced by RD Raja under his 24AM Studios banner.

The film will have Napolean and Simran in important roles. Simran form the first time is joining hands with Sivakarthikeyan. Music will be rendered by D.Imman while Balasubramaniem will handle the camera. Vivek Harshan is the Editor.

Yugabharathi will be penning lyrics for all the songs. T.Muthuraj will head the Art department. Anal Arasu will take care of Stunt choreography while Anu Partharasarathy and Eka Lakhani are the costume designers. RC Kamalakannan is the VFX supervisor of the film.
